This weeks review from around the grounds
Mandurah City have been busy this week, with he signing of three new players for next season. First to sign is Craig Barker, who has recently been playing his football in the USA. Joining Craig is Jamie Burns who is the current State League Div 2 player of the year runner up & an ever present in State League football, representing Ashfield, Swan United, Wanneroo & Western Knights, the latter as a league & cup winner. Making it a hat-trick of signings is local player, David Clarke. Clarke re-joins the Dolphins after spells at Rockingham City, Western Knights and Kwinana United.
Rockingham City played their first pre season friendly, when they travelled to UWA Nedlands for the Green and Gold charity match to raise funds and awareness for the WA Para Football Program. Rockingham won a competitive game 3-2 with all the players getting some kind of run out on a very hot day.
Port Kennedy are on the look out for players for their Amateur teams next season. Pre-season training starts on Sunday 10th January from 11am at Koorana Reserve. For more information, please contact Liam at LiamJHarvey_92@mail.com
