A 35th minute goal from Rocky player Afian Giyanto gave Rockingham City their first win of the 2021 season. In a much improved performance from last week’s loss to Bayswater City, Rocky produced a workman like performance to get all three points against Cockburn City.

Cockburn piled on the pressure late in the second half and despite the referee playing 7 minutes of additional time, Rocky held on to jump up to 8th in the ladder while their host remain bottom of the ladder.
