The Weekend Preview

Its a busy weekend of football action in the region, with games on Saturday and then cup games on Monday.

In the WA NPL competition, Rockingham City hope to get back to winning ways when they host 4th placed Sorrento at Lark Hill. As ever, the action starts at 11am with the under 18’s, 1pm for the reserves and 3pm for the first team game.

In the state league, Mandurah City hope to get their first win of the season when they host 7th placed Swan United. The under 18’s kick off at 11am, Reserves at 1pm and 3pm for the first team.

Other games on Saturday are the junior cup rounds.

Under 13’s Cup:

Wembley Downs v Baldivis Districts 10am

Kwinana United v Warnbro Strikers 10am

North Beach v Port Kennedy 10am

Tuart Hill v Baldivis 10am

Aubin Grove v Mandurah City 11.30am

Rockingham City v Kingsley Westside 2pm

Under 14’s Cup:

Olympic Kingsway v Baldivis 10am

Mandurah City v Wanneroo City 10am

Baldivis Districts v Bassendean Caledonian 10am

On Monday, there are cup games involving our sides.

The FFA cup takes centre stage with Rockingham City hosting Gosnells City from state league division 2. Kick off for this game is 2.30pm. Mandurah City are also at home on Monday when they host NPL side Cockburn City. Kick off for this game is 3pm.

In the state league reserves cup competition, both Rockingham City and Mandurah City are at home. Rockingham City play Western Knights at 12.30pm while Mandurah City play Canning City at 1pm.

In the state league under 18’s cup, only Rockingham City are left in the competition. Rocky are at home to Subiaco, kicking off at 10.30am.

The ladies state league competition sees Port Kennedy host Sorrento at Lark Hill with a 3pm kick off, while Mandurah City travel south for an away game against South West Phoenix kicking off at 3pm.

In the ladies metro cup competition, Rockingham City travel to South Perth for a 11am kick off while Baldivis Districts host another South Perth side, for a 12pm kick off.

The Men’s amateur cup round see’s Mandurah City travel to South Perth for a 2.30pm kick off while Port Kennedy travel to Perth Hills also for a 2.30pm kick off.

The Men’s amateur reserve cup has Peel United travelling to South Perth for a 12.15pm kick off, while Port Kennedy’s reserves travel to Perth Hills also for aa 12.15 kick off.

The Masters cup has Mandurah City travelling to Perth City in a 1pm kick off, Port Kennedy travel to Aubin Grove for a 3pm kick off, while in the over 45’s cup competition, Baldivis are at home to Noranda City, kicking off at 1pm.
