The Saturday Review

We start our reports from Saturday’s game with the news that Mandurah City finally got their first win of the season, when they travelled to Fremantle City and left with all 3 points.

In an entertaining game that saw 5 goals, 10 yellow cards and a red card Mandurah defeated the mornings league leaders 3-2. Goals from Alex Grayson and a double from Jamie Burns (including a near perfect summersault for his second goal) meant the dolphins headed home with their first win of the season.

It was not such a good day for Rockingham City in the NPL was they went down 1-0 to Perth Soccer Club. Despite the score line, Rocky were the better team on the day and it was only a lack of fire power up front that meant that they now sit bottom of the ladder. However, Rocky are in an unbelievable position of playing 6 of there 7 games away from home and will soon look forward to a run of home games, in front of their passionate supporters to turn the season around.
