
This weeks preview starts with a Friday night masters cup game between Rockingham United and Manning United. Rockingham are hoping for as many people to attend the match and have offered beers at only $5 while the game is on. Kick off is at 7.30pm at Laurie Stanford Reserve in Singleton.
Saturday afternoon has Rockingham City hosting not only the Perth Glory, but Worthy Australia. During this game, Rocky will be out to get back on to winning ways on the pitch, while off the pitch, raise some much needed funds and awareness for the charity. With games kicking off at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, its going to be a busy but good day at Lark Hill.


Also on Saturday, Mandurah City host Ashfield in the State League. Mandurah comfortably beat their visitors in the night series and will be hoping for a similar result on Saturday. Kick off for the first team game is 3pm.
Also on Saturday morning, there are junior cup fixtures. Rockingham City Under 13’s are at home to Kingsley Westside (10am kick off), Mandurah City Under 13’s away to Aubin Grove (12pm kick off), Baldivis Under 14’s away to Olympic Kingsway (11am kick Off),and Mandurah City Under 14’s home to Wanneroo City (11am kick off).
On Sunday, its a cup day. Mandurah City Ladies take the same trip as last week when the play South West Phoenix in the State Cup, kick off at 2.30pm.
In the amateur section, the cup takes centre stage. Mandurah City travel to Division 1 side South Perth United, Port Kennedy travel to Division 2 side Perth Hills United while in the reserves cup, Peel United reserves travel to South Perth United and Port Kennedy reserves play Perth Hills United.
In the masters competition, Mandurah City travel to north division 3 side Perth City and Port Kennedy have an all south division 1 clash with Aubin Grove.
Sunday also sees plenty of Junior action in the various leagues, so why not pop along to your local club, support them and buy a coffee from the club house. Every cent counts and you will be warmly welcomed where ever you go.
