The Weekend Review

The luck must surely change this weekend for Rockingham City as they continue their run of home games and search for that elusive win that will get them a little closer to avoiding relegation this year. Rocky host Sorrento on Saturday, who are currently in 4th place and despite having a good share of possession, the home side really need to be finding their goal scoring form to get the three points. Kick off is at 3pm at Lark Hill.

In the state league, Mandurah City travel to fellow mid table side, Subiaco. A win for Mandurah will put them above their opponents and if other results go their way, could see them as high as 5th place. Kick off for this game is also at 3pm at Rosalie Park.

Also on Saturday night, Baldivis make the long, long long trip to Geraldton as they play La Fiamma in the amateur division 3. Kick off is at 6pm.

Sunday’s action in the women’s state league has Mandurah City travelling to Armadale. Mandurah are coming off a fine win last week and should they continue this form, they could go as high as 6th in the table with a win.

In the amateur section, Peel United hope to keep up their good form when they travel to mid table South Perth United. Port Kennedy are also on the road, as they go to relegation threatened Southern Spirt. Division 2 action has Mandurah City hosting Carramar Shamrock Rovers.
