The under girls 14’s cup game finished Balcatta 0 v 3 Rockingham United. History was made as this was Rocky United girls first ever cup game, and they really rose to the occasion. The game started with both midfields battling for control, the few attacks by Balcatta were handled comfortably by the defence and slowly we gained control in the middle which helped set up lots of attacking play. This pressure eventually paid off with two goals in the later part of the first half.The second half started well for Balcatta as they tried to get back into the game but our midfield and defence stood strong and supported each other well. Playing on the counter attack we secured our third goal and the team stayed strong for the remainder of the game.
