It maybe quiet on the playing fields but tonight, Wednesday 30th June, Rockingham City have announced the departure of head coach Goran Stajic.
In an open letter to the club and its members, Stajic wrote:

the club wrote on their Facebook page
WE WISH STAJIC ALL THE BEST
“We are disappointed to advise our membership that Head Coach Goran Stajic has regretfully decided to step away from his role as Head Coach at Rockingham City FC, although he will retain membership as a supporter. Nothing is set in concrete in Football and the decisions made by the management committee in the days, weeks and months to come will need to be flexible for the best outcome possible for the club as a whole. Our future is paramount, and we endeavour to keep you all as engaged as we can.
Our primary focus is showing our support for the wellbeing and retention of our players. Our players and all other coaches in the Senior NPL network have all pledged to honour their agreements for the remainder of the 2021 season, they are committed to RCFC and we continue to back them. We want to ensure positive working relationships, conducive to our ambition.
For the immediate future those that remain unite and stand strong in the face of adversity. The Management Committee have called for expressions of interest for all facets of coaching at RCFC and in the interim Assistant Coach Lee Taylor will be stepping up as Head Coach, with the assistance of Stu Newman who have both agreed to tackle this challenge head on, along with the clubs Technical Director Martin ‘Bobby’ Ball and the Clubs Coaching Coord David Bolan. We appreciate this is no easy task.
On behalf of the management committee we acknowledge the difficult circumstances we are facing in the WANPL after a run of disappointing results and are appreciative of the support we receive club and community wide, especially from our sponsors and we look forward to hosting you all at SafeRad stadium on game day. It has been a turbulent season for Stajic and we thank him for his efforts and would also like to wish Goran and his family all the best for his future professional, and personal endeavours”
Lisa-Jane Manning & The RCFC Management Committee
We would also like to pass on our best wishes to Goran who was very kind to us and always gave us a few words and his time when asked.
