Peel United’s amateur side took another step towards promotion in a rain effected program on Sunday. Goals from Scott Martin and an own goal gave Peel a 2-0 win away to Stirling Panthers to keep them at the top of the division. The only other game in the amateurs competition involving our local sides was in division 3, where Baldivis had an excellent 3-1 win away to Perth AFC. Goals from Jones, Muckles and Matt Turner were enough to push Baldivis up to 9th in division 3.
