The Sunday Preview

The Sunday preview starts with a couple of Friday night games!

Mandurah City Amateurs are playing at home against West Nam United in a catch up game. The reserve team kicks off at 6.30 with the first team kicking off at 8.15pm

Staying with the amateur leagues, Sunday has a full program of games to look forward to. Game of the day in division 1 is 1st placed Peel at home to 4th placed North Beach. Peel have returned back to the top of the table after a short mid season wobble and 3points is vital on Sunday as their visitors, South Perth and Emerald are all close by in the table. Port Kennedy will be looking to secure their division 1 status for next year as they are at home to fellow mid table side Gosnells City. A win for PK should see them save for another season in the division, but their visitors will also be looking for all three points to help them secure division 1 football next season. Division 2 on Sunday and Mandurah City are again in action, this time at home to 2nd placed Maccabi. The visitors will be looking for three points as they are only 1 point behind leaders Olympic Kingsway. Baldivis of division 3 are also hoping to help secure division 3 football for next season as they are at home to another mid table side Brozzy. Baldivis are only 3 point from bottom side Perth AFC so a few wins in the next few games are what they need. Rockingham City of division 4 are in desperate need of a few wins in the remaining games. City have only won once all season and take on 5th placed Northern City on Sunday. The visitors really don’t have anything to play for, comfortably sitting in mid table with no realistic hope of promotion. All games kick off at 3pm.

The Ladies state league has a wonderful opportunity for Mandurah City to get back to winning ways as they travel to bottom of the table Gwelup Croatia. The host have only won once all season and 3 points for Mandurah would ease their relegation fears.
