Rocky Need A Miracle While Mandurah Remain In State League Division 1 Next Season

Boy George once sang in the 80’s “It’s a Miracle” and that is something Rockingham City will be hoping for if they are going to stay up in their season’s WA NPL.

With just 2 games remaining, City are now 4 points off safety and also with an inferior goal difference, which didn’t help with last nights 2-0 loss away to Perth Glory. Goals from Bramwell and Zimarino were enough to condemn Rocky to their 15th defeat of the season.

Any small hopes of Mandurah reaching the top 4 or even any small fears of them dropping to into a relegation battle were both quashed as they won 3-0 away to Ashfield. In poor weather conditions, it was a scrappy 1st half but goals from Baird, Barker and Carter were enough to get all three points and secure division 1 football for next season.
