Georgetown Oval was the place to be on Sunday afternoon when a normal mid table game between Warnbro Strikers and Southern Spirit was taking place.
What came next was something completely out the normal as 4 goals from Moir and hat-tricks from Ozoa, Kemp, MacDonald helped Strikers to an 18(Eighteen) goals to 1 victory in south division 3 match.
We attended the south division 2 game between Murray District Rangers and Mandurah City and there was no surprise in this result as Mandurah ran out comfortable winners 5-0. This result now means Mandurah required just 1 more point from the last 3 games to win the title. Rangers however will be hoping for better results in the final few games and with the news of their new changing rooms starting to be built in readiness for next season, the future is looking good for them. The other result in the Metro leagues ended with a 2-1 defeat for Port Kennedy against Fremantle City.
