So, Here’s To A New Year And A New Season!

So a belated Happy New Year to all our readers, followers and listeners. Hopefully, the Christmas turkey has all gone and the New Year Resolutions are still going….

Although we are only in the 12th day of the year, many clubs have started or continued their preparations for the year ahead. Over the next few weeks here are what the clubs are looking to do.

Wednesday 12th January: (TODAY!)

Rockingham City are holding a Come and Try session for all girls aged 10-16. This starts at 5.30pm

Mandurah City are holding Amateur, Women’s State League and Women’s Metro league training sessions from 6.30pm

Friday 14th January:

Walking Football continues at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre from 2pm

Saturday 15th January:

Peel United Amateurs Open Training Session from 10am

Warnbro Strikers Registration day from 10am

Monday 17th January:

Walking Football at the Halls Head Hockey Stadium from 6pm

Baldivis girls under 10’s open training from 4.30pm

Tuesday 18th January:

Rockingham City Amatuers Open Session from 6.30pm

Warner Strikers Under 18’s open session from 5pm

Thursday 20th January:

Baldivis women’s training from 6.45

Port Kennedy Under 14’s season from 5.30pm

Sunday 23rd January:

Mandurah City Girls Development from 3pm

Port Kennedy Women’s open session from 10am

Sunday 30th January:

Murray District Rangers Mens and Women’s training sessions from 10am

Also, Football West have released some news and information that maybe of help to clubs.

Football West is seeking team entry nominations for the 2022 FFA Cup preliminary rounds. The men’s competition is open to all clubs from WA.Men’s State League teams automatically enter at the Round Three stage, with NPL WA – Men’s sides joining at Round Four. Preliminary round dates Round 2 25 -27 February Round 3 18-20 March Round 4 22-25 April Round 5 (midweek) 17-19 May Quarter-final (WA Day/midweek)6-9 June Semi-final (midweek) 21-23 June Final 25 July Nominations close 10am Monday 24 January.All queries to be directed to Article and nomination form:
