As more and more pre-season games are being held, here is a run down of events and going on’s around the clubs. Remember, if you do have anything you want us to promote, just drop us an email at and we will do our best to promote your event.

With the season not too far away, clubs are still on the look out for players and coaches, so here is a list of current vacancies:

Mandurah City are still on the hunt to appoint the correct head coach to take our exciting Amateur first team squad forward this 2022 season. If this interests you please send your expression of interest to

Baldivis Soccer Club are on the look out for under 9’s. Training to commence this Wednesday 23rd February 5-6pm at Tranby College Oval. All players welcome no matter what experience. Port Kennedy U14’s have new training days. They will now be training Mondays and Wednesdays from 5.30pm. Zack is still searching for a couple more players to fill out the squad. So head on down to training or message the club for more info.

The Port Kennedy Amateur side have started strong this season with some exciting young players joining our existing experienced squad. In saying that, we are keen to welcome additional players to add to our squad. If interested, please email us at: or Training nights are currently on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Swallowtail Parade, Warnbro from 6.30pm.

Rockingham City U12 and U14s girls are still seeking to strengthen our squads. No registration needed just come down, enjoy the session and if you like it talk to us about joining the teams! Sessions are every Wednesday night, from 5pm at Lark Hill Sports Complex.

Warnbro Strikers Soccer Club, are seeking girls aged 11-12 years of age to be a part of our U12’s all Girls team for the upcoming 2022 season & beyond. Away from looking out for players and coaches, here is the other news from the region:

The Peel Walking Footballers have had to suspend their sessions on Monday evenings for the next few weeks. they have made this decision after considering how many regular players will not be available during this period and will review the situation of player numbers in middle March with a view of recommencing these sessions as soon as we can. Some of the regular players who are about to undergo or have undergone surgery or injury rehabilitation, we wish you all the best and a speedy recovery and hope to see you back playing again soon. Note: Friday sessions at the MARC are not affected, they will run as usual.

Baldivis Soccer Club have just announced a change of date for their football quiz. This will now be held on Saturday 19th March from 6.30pm. Tickets available by contacting the club on their Facebook page

Rockingham United are having a fundraising Sausage Sizzle on Saturday 26th February at the Rockingham Bunnings. Get yourself along and help the club where you can.

Finally, an interesting game to attend as the Women’s Amateur Night Series kicks off this weekend and Baldivis Districts will be entering for the first time ever. Their first game is on Sunday 27th February at 7pm where they play UWA Nedlands a Wauhop Park in Fremantle.
