Both Mandurah City and Rockingham City eased through to the next round of the Australia cup on Saturday with comprehensive wins.

In the early game, State League side Mandurah took on Amateur side Yanchep United and there was a clear difference in quality of the sides. Andrew Murray was the star of the show for the Dolphins scoring 4 times in the comprehensive 13-0 victory.

Later on, in the all State League Division 1 tie, Rockingham City also cruised through to the next round, defeating Subiaco 5-1. The start performer for City was Mukwevho who score a hat trick in this win.

Along with the Australia Cup, the prelim round of the State League reserve cup was held and again, it was Rockingham City who progressed into the next round, defeating Subiaco reserves 2-1
