Only 2 league games played in the metro leagues, but Baldivis will be very happy with their start in the premier league, with 6 points from 6 so far. This weekend, they hope for this form to continue with an away game against bottom of the table Western Border.

South division 1 has lots of local interest, as Port Kennedy (5th), AFC Rockingham (7th) and Mandurah City (10th) are all competing. Both Mandurah and Port Kennedy have played twice, while AFC Rockingham only the once. This Sunday, AFC Rockingham are at home to Fremantle City (1pm kick off), while Port Kennedy travel to Curtin University and Mandurah City travel to Murdoch University Melville.

There are also three local teams in the South division 2 with Port Kennedy (9th), Baldivis (10th) and Peel United (11th) are all in action. Port Kennedy have played twice, while Baldivis and Peel only the once. On Sunday, Port Kennedy are at home to Perth Saints (1pm kick off), while Peel United are away at Sporting Warriors and Baldivis away at Sothern Spirit.

Peel United also have a team in South division 3. Currently in 10th place, they are scheduled to play away at Perth Royals on Sunday. However, Perth Royals have had to forfeit their first 2 games so its anyone’s guess if this game will go ahead!

Two local teams play in South division 4. AFC Rockingham (3rd) and Murray District Rangers (9th). Both teams have played twice and this weekend, Murray District Rangers are at home to Beeliar Spirit (11.30am kick off) while AFC Rockingham are also at home to Fremantle City (3pm kick off)

There has also been a cup round played in April. Peel United South division 2 side beat South Perth United 6-0, Port Kennedy South division 1 side beat Alexander Florina 3-0. Peel United’s south division 3 side lost to Olympic Kingsway 7-1, Baldivis beat Joondalup City 5-0, Port Kennedy South division 2 side lost 3-4 to Wembley Downs while Murray District Rangers were defeated by SDSA/TOKOSS. The draw for the next round has been made. Peel United South division 2 will be at home to Olympic Kingsway, Port Kennedy south division 1 side travel to Victoria Park and Baldivis travel to Dianella White Eagles
