Saturday’s State League action saw Mandurah City score 4 goals for the third week running. Despite going 1 down after just 3 minutes, The Dolphins quickly bounced back with two quick goals through Barker and O’Brien. The host team, MUM FC then scored right on the stroke of half time to make it 2-2. The second half was almost complete dominance for Mandurah and 2 goals from Van Dieken put the game safe and the 3 points down the freeway.
Meanwhile, Rockingham City’s poor form continued as they went down 2-0 at home to Quinns FC. The visitors took an early lead in the first half and then doubled the advantage early in the second half.
Following the results, Mandurah City climbed up to 5th place in the table while Rockingham remained in 11th place.
