It wasn’t the greatest of weeks for our amateur sides this week and between then, not a win or draw was produced.
In the premier division, Peel United conceded a last minute goal against Maddington White City to go down 2-1 at Bortolo Park. It looks like it was a fiery encounter with 10 yellow cards also being shown in the game. Another late goal came in the division 1 game between Maccabi and Port Kennedy. It looked it was going to end up in a 2-2 draw but the host side scored with 4 minutes remaining to take all three points. Mandurah City in division 2 however, didn’t have to worry about last minute goals, as they went down 6-1 away at Fremantle City, while in division 3, Baldivis lost 2-1 at home to Noranda City, again, a last minute winner for the visiting team. To round up a disappointing day for our local sides, Warnbro Strikers went down 5-1 away at Perth Royals.
