Goals Galore In The Ladies Leagues

Sunday saw a glut of goals in the various ladies division, but not necessarily for our teams. Mandurah City travelled down to Bunbury in the State League but came up against a very strong home team, losing 5-0. The half time score was 5-0 so City will take some comfort of holding the home team to a draw in the second half. There was also 5 goals in the Metro South Division 1 game between Port Kennedy and Gosnells City and fortunately, Port Kennedy won 4-1, while in the South Division 2 local derby, Warnbro Strikers beat Mandurah City 6-3. Also scoring six were Port Kennedy, who beat Victoria Park 6-0, while there were defeats for both Baldivis Districts and Rockingham United. It really wasn’t a great day for Rockingham United as both of there South Division 4 teams also lost at the weekend.
