Magical Mandurah, Rockingham Rejoice

It may have been a cold and wet Saturday afternoon, but it was raining goals at our 2 state league games played and also produced a double win for the second week running.

Mandurah City continued their fine goal scoring run with a 7-1 demolition of Quinns FC. Two goals from Joe O’Brien and Hamish Van Dieken helped the home side to this comprehensive victory.

An excellent Robbie Galvin free kick helped Rockingham City to 3 points against Forrestfield United. Rockingham were a goal down and out played in the first half, but a good half time team talk from interim coach Darren Donnachie was enough for the home team to completely dominate the second half.

In the reserves competition, Mandurah City won 5-3 but Rockingham City lost 2-0 while in the under 18’s, Mandurah City won 5-0 while Rockingham City lost 3-2
