Both Mandurah and Rockingham have run into some winning form leading into next Saturday’s crunch derby game.
Rockingham’s relegation fears were eased as were never in any trouble against bottom of the league UWA Nedlands with Mukwevho scoring both goals in this easy 2-0 victory.
Mandurah also won by the same scoreline as they beat Fremantle City. This was a tense and tight affair, but second half goals from Shaked and Van Dieken saw the Dolphins home.
These results now mean that Mandurah sit 3rd in the table, 7 points behind leaders Olympic Kingsway, while Rockingham moved up to 9th.
In the other results, Rockingham reserves won 5-1 and Mandurah reserves won 2-0, while in the under 18’s, Mandurah won 5-3 while the Rockingham game was postponed.
