Peel Leave It Late – Amateur League Review

Peel United’s recent good form continued on Sunday, but only just! Trailing 1-0 at the break and being down to 10 men, it took an injury time goal from Jake Loreto to get all 3 points at Bortolo Park. Scott Martin scored the equaliser earlier on in the second half which now means Peel are currently sitting in mid table in the men’s amateur premier division.

Not so good news for Port Kennedy in Division 1 as they were thumped 6-0 at Southern sport, while Mandurah City were also on the losing side, going down 3-0 at home to Kingsley Westside in Division 2. Happier news in Division 3 where Baldivis won 1-0 at MUM FC, but Warnbro Strikers went down 5-2 at home to UWA Nedlands in Division 4.
