Perfect Weather For Ducks…(And Dolphins)

The wind blew and the rain fell but even the weather conditions were no match for Mandurah City as they came from behind to beat bottom of the table UWA Nedlands on Saturday. The home took the lead early in the second half but a quick fire double from stand in captain, Joe O’Brien and a 90th minute 3rd from Green was enough to get the Dolphins 3 valuable points. They did have a last minute scare as the home side scored a second 3 minutes into injury time, but held on for the win.

Rockingham City played out a very entertaining 3-3 draw at home to Subiaco. With the strong wind blowing down the pitch, this made for a game that was end to end action. Goals from Connor Price, a suburb Robbie Galvin free kick and Harry Geeves still wasn’t enough to get all three points and a draw was probably fair result in the end.
