All eyes and thoughts were at Singleton on Sunday as AFC Rockingham played F.C. Shoalwaterfor the first ever playing of the Stephen Matter Cup. During the week, there was some sad news that Stephen had passed away and as he had previously played for both teams, it was only fitting that a cup was named in his honour. We would like to pass on our thoughts to his friends and family. Over 100 people gathered to watch the game in which F.C. Shoalwater won 5-2.

Other results from the masters league were Port Kennedy beating F.C. Shoalwater 2-1 in the premier division while Baldivis lost 2-1 to Leeming Strikers in south division 2 and in the over 45’s group B, Baldivis lost 6-3 to Leeming Strikers.
