Jacob Chenneour was the hero in Saturday’s under 18’s cup semi final for Rockingham City against Whitfords City with a hat trick of penalty saves. Rockingham of division 1 were favourites to win this tie against their division 3 opponents, but it was far from plain sailing as the hosts went into a 2-0 lead at half time with Rockingham having a mountain to climb. But climb that mountain they did! Despite having 2 men sent off in the second half, the visitors got the victory in the 90th minute with a winner from Coustley, means that Rockingham City will play Ellenbrook United in the final on Saturday 20th August at a venue to be announced.
