The Sunday Review – Women’s Leagues

Mandurah City still remain at the bottom of the State League Division after a 3-1 loss away at Sorrento while in the Amateur Division, Baldivis Districts shared 10 goals with UWA Nedlands, winning 6-4. Rennie for Baldivis scored 4 imes in the game which now leaves Districts in 6th place, level on points with Sunday’s opponents. In the Metro leagues, Port Kennedy are just 3 wins away from winning the South Division 1 as they beat Curtin University 2-0 away from home. In South Division 2, Rockingham United beat Mandurah City 2-1, South Perth United beat Warnbro Strikers 4-3 and Port Kennedy beat Kalamunda United 2-1. This result meant Port Kennedy overtook their opponents at the top of the table, while Rockingham United are 5th, Warnbro Strikers 6th and Mandurah City 8th. In south Division 3, Rockingham United lost 7-2 against Beeliar Spirit and remain in 11th.
