There are plenty of games this Sunday where promotions and relegation could be one step closer.
In the Amateur League, Peel United could do with 3 points to ease their relegation fears as they travel to North Perth United in a 1pm kick off, while in Division 1, Port Kennedy also need the 3 points against fellow struggling side Ellenbrook United. It’s the same situation in Division 2, as Mandurah City are in 11th but a win against Brozzy should move them out of the relegation area but in Division 3, Baldivis are currently 2nd and 3 points at home against Geraldton based side La Fiamma will get them 9ne step towards promotion. Warnbro Strikers in Division 4 have a bye this week.
It’s the last weekend of the regular season for Mandurah City in the women’s state league. They travel to 2nd placed UWA Nedlands to play for pride. In the Amateur Division, Baldivis Districts have a difficult game away at top of the table Hamersley Rovers. In the Metro leagues, Port Kennedy can win the South division 1 league if they beat Perth Saints at home. Their South Division 2 side are also top of the league and travel to Leeming Strikers, while there is a local derby as Warnbro Strikers host Rockingham United. In the South Division 3, Rockingham United travel to Victoria Park.
No game for masters South premier side Port Kennedy this Sunday and only Mandurah City are playing in south Division 2as they host Perth Saints. On Friday night, AFC Rockingham host MUM FC with a 7.30pm kick off in the over 45’s league while Baldivis play on Sunday afternoon away at Curtin University.
Finally, in the Metro leagues, Baldivis are at home to Chipolopolo in the premier division. In the South Division 1, Port Kennedy go to Queens Park, AFC Rockingham to South Perth United and Mandurah City are at home to Beeliar Spirit. South Division 2 has Baldivis travelling to Belmont Villa and Peel United going to Perth Saints. Port Kennedy played their game on Wednesday night, beating Kwinana United 3-1. No local interest in south Division 3 as Peel United lost to MUM FC 3-0 on Thursday night and in south Division 4, AFC Rockingham are away at Curtin University and Murray District Rangers go to MUM FC.
