There were some very important and crucial wins on Sunday for our Amateur sides. In the Premier league, Peel United got a valuable 3 points as they won 5-3 away at North Perth. This win now pushes them up to 8th in the league with some breathing space from the relegation zone. Another team with a gritty win were Port Kennedy in Division 1. They went 1 up inside the first minute before going down to 10 men just past the half hour mark. They then scored the second with 5 minutes to go before the visitors, Ellenbrook United, got a goal back in injury time but Port held on for the 3 points and swapped places with their opponents. In Division 2, Mandurah City got a 1-0 win against Brozzy SC which pushed them into 10th place while in Division 3, Baldivis lost 3-0 to Geraldton based side La Fiamma to put a dent into their promotion hopes.
