The Sunday Review – Amateur League

Peel United almost certainly secured premier league football next season with a fine 2-1 away win at Emerald FC. Goals from Mitch Kelman and the veteran Jack Richardson gave United the valuable 3 points. Port Kennedy in Division 1 also did themselves a massive favour by winning 1-0 away at Stirling Panthers, Warren scoring the vital goal in this game. Mandurah City in Division 2 are safe from relegation but they went down 4-1 at home to Canning City, while a 2-2 draw for Baldivis in Division 3 means they are still in the hunt for promotion. Warnbro Strikers in Division 4 had no game on Sunday.
