There will be Junior teams representing our region at next week’s top for finals but unfortunately there are some whose season has now come to an end.
We start the congratulations with Port Kennedy and their under 13’s Division 2 side who beat North Beach 2-0 and will face Woodvale in the final, while their under 14 south Division 3 side beat Canning City 3-2 on penalties. Baldivis of the under 15’s South Division 1 beat Sutherlands Park 5-0. Mandurah City of the under 16’s Division 2 beat Noranda on penalties and in the under 18’s, it will be a repeat of the recent cup final as Rockingham City will face Ellenbrook United in the Division 1 final.
And onto those sides where is so near, but now can start planning for next season. Rockingham City under 13’s South Division 1 side lost 5-2 against Armadale and Baldivis of south Division 2 went down 2-0 against Beeliar Spirit. In the under 14’s, Rockingham City lost 4-1 to Belmont and the under 15’s lost 2-1 against Western Knights. Under 16’s Division 1 side Warnbro Strikers lost 4-3 against MUM FC. Port Kennedy’s under 18’s in Division 3 lost 2-1 to Aubin Grove.
In the Girls top four semi finals, Rockingham City lost 3-1 to Kingsley Westside in Division 2 but Mandurah City progressed to the Division 4 final after beating Mindarie 3-1. Finally, Rockingham United lost 4-0 to Woodvale in the under 16’s Division 3 semi.
