The Sunday Review – Seniors

While the Junior section is in finals mode, there is still plenty of senior football being played on a Sunday.

Starting off in the masters leagues, where Port Kennedy in the South premier had a 3-0 win over UWA Nedlands but no such luck for Baldivis in the South Division as they went down 1-0 to South Perth United. AFC Rockingham won 3-0 against Forrestfield United in the over 45’s group A and Baldivis in group B had an even better result, beating MUM FC 5-0.

In the men’s Metro leagues, Baldivis went down 2-1 to Perth in the premier division, while in south Division 1, Port Kennedy lost 3-2 against South Perth United, AFC Rockingham lost 3-1 to MUM FC and Mandurah City drew 2-2 with Curtin University. Baldivis in south Division 2 won the local derby, beating Port Kennedy 3-1 and in the South Division 4, Murray District Rangers won the local derby against AFC Rockingham 3-1.

In the women’s Metro leagues, south Division 2 saw .Port Kennedy beat Mandurah City 9-1, Warnbro Strikers beat Kelmscott Roos 6-0 but Rockingham United lost 4-3 to South Perth United.

In the men’s Amateur League, Peel United lost 2-0 to Queens Park in the premier division, Port Kennedy beat Olympic Kingsway 2-1 in Division 1, Mandurah City won 3-2 against Westnam United in Division 2. In Division 3, Baldivis lost 2-0 against Cracovia and finally, in Division 4, Warnbro Strikers lost 3-1 to UWA Nedlands.
