As we come to the festive period, we would like to wish all our readers and listeners a very merry Christmas and happy new year!

I would like to personally thank all those people who took time out to talk to us on the podcast over the past 12 months and those who also commented on how much they enjoy listening to it. We are always on the look out for new people to come on the show as well as old guests.

We enjoy recording the shows and keeping you updated on the website with what’s going on around the region and next year will be no different. In fact, its hoped the podcast will be released on a more frequent occurrence and new teams, clubs and associations included (watch this space!)

We will return sometime in January, with the state league night series about to start, followed by the Amateur night series competition. From here, the FFA Cup starts and pre season really gets underway.

As ever, if there is anything you would like us to promote in your club or association, just drop us an email and we can cover it on the website, on a podcast or both. Nothing is too much trouble and the more news the merrier.

Finally, you may remember that Andy Jones ran a World Cup prediction league. This was won by 12 year old Ronnie Webb, who was more than happy in spending his $252 winnings in lollies, ice cream and a Perth Glory Shirt! Well done Ronnie and well done Andy for running the competition.
