Port Kennedy are welcoming EOI for the u16s and u18s teams for the 2023 season.
The 2021 u16s had a successful season winning their League and the Top 4 Cup final and pushed up to Division 2 in 2022 for the u18s. In 2022, Coach Owen and his team finished 2nd in the Division and 3rd in the Top 4 Cup round and the club are hoping to continue the success of what Owen and his u16/u18s achieved over the past years into 2023. The Port Kennedy Canteen has been a huge part of the growth and success of the Club over the past years. With the 2023 season fast approaching, they are seeking EOI from parents, players and guests who could volunteer their time on Game Days for a few hours. All food preparation on the Game Day Menu is simple however, the volume can vary depending on the amount of home games they have on any given Sunday. They are asking if you and/or your child are playing at home on a Sunday, that you dedicate an hour or 2 too assisting in our Canteen for an 1hr before or after your game. The second round for the Port Kennedy u15s is this Thursday at Shoalwater Reserve. After a fantastic season in 2022 and winning the Top 4 Final, the lads are set for another great season! Rockingham City have announced the signing of two new players for their state league side. They are delighted to announce Joe Moss and Kosta Stavrou will be a part of the squad for the 2023 season. The coaching staff speak highly of the two lads saying “they have been outstanding during preseason and are itching to get going. We are delighted they have agreed to be a part of what we are building here. They may be young, but are mature about how they play football and they look set to be massive assets to the squad”.
