Another week closer to the start of the season and many clubs and associations are continuing their hard work to get as many people as possible, of all ages and abilities playing this year. Here is our weekly look at what is happening around the grounds.
Rockingham City are continuing their growth of the girl’s game by inviting any girls who qualify for the under 14’s and under 16’s to their training sessions. Training is at Lark Hill from 5pm on Wednesday evenings and all players are welcome.
Port Kennedy’s senior ladies’ team are on the lookout for a goalkeeper. An unfortunate long-term injury to the regular keeper now means that this position is a priority for the team. If you are an experienced keeper, then please contact Kevin on 0449 577 671.
Baldivis Districts invites all girls and women who are 15 years and over to join their senior squads for this season. No experience needed and training is on Tuesday nights, from 6.30pm at Baldivis reserve. For more information, please contact the club secretary@baldivisdistricts.com.au
Rockingham United have announce the time of training for their teams. Training is on a Thursday night from 5.30pm for Under 5’s to Under 14’s and 6.15pm for Under 16’s and seniors. all players are welcome, and the club will let anyone play, no try outs required. Training is at Paul Garnett Reserve, near Rockingham Hospital
The continuation of the facility upgrades at Murray Districts Rangers continues. With new club house and changing room, the club have now got new permanent lights at their South Yunderup home and welcome all new players to attend their training sessions to play for this year.
